If you decide to delete your account, all your data will be permanently removed. This action can't be undone.
Deleting your account permanently removes: all your trips, expenses, photos, settings and any associated data. There's no way to recover them afterward.
How to delete your account
Go to your profile
Tap "Profile" in the menu.
Scroll to "Account"
In your profile, scroll down to the "Account" section.
Tap "Delete account"
You'll see the option in red at the bottom of the section.
Type "DELETE"
To confirm, type the word DELETE in the text field. This makes sure you understand the action is irreversible.
Confirm deletion
Tap the confirm button. Your account and all your data will be permanently deleted.
What gets deleted?
All trips
Trips you created are deleted for everyone
All expenses
Expenses you added to any trip
All photos
Photos you uploaded to galleries
Your profile
Your name, photo and all your info
Shared trips
If you delete your account:
- Trips you created: Completely deleted for all participants
- Other people's trips: Your expenses in those trips remain but show as "deleted user"
If you have an active Premium subscription, cancel it first from your phone settings (App Store or Google Play) to avoid future charges.
Before you delete
Consider these alternatives:
- Log out: If you just want to stop using the app temporarily
- Export PDF: Save a record of your trips before deleting
- Contact us: If you're having an issue, we might be able to help without deleting everything
