Creating a trip is the first step to start tracking expenses with your friends. It's super easy and only takes a few seconds.
Steps to create a trip
Tap "Create trip"
On the home screen, tap the "+" button or "Create trip".
Give it a name
Pick a descriptive name for your trip. For example: "Europe 2024", "Cabo with friends", "Juan's birthday".
Select the dates
Choose the start and end dates. This helps keep expenses organized chronologically.
Pick the main currency
Choose the currency you want to see the balance in. You can add more currencies later.
Create the trip
Tap "Create" and you're all set.
Trip settings
Name
A title to identify your trip in the list
Dates
Start and end of the trip (optional but recommended)
Main currency
The base currency for calculating balances
Cover image
A photo to personalize the trip (optional)
Don't worry if you don't have all the details yet. You can edit the trip later and add or change anything.
Countries visited (optional)
You can add the countries you're going to visit. This lets you:
- See visited countries stats in your profile
- Better organize expenses by country
- Keep a record of your adventures
After creating
Once the trip is created you can:
- Invite participants: Share the code so your friends can join
- Add expenses: Start logging what you're spending
- Upload photos: Save your memories in the gallery
- Set up currencies: If you'll be using multiple currencies
On the free plan you can have up to 3 active trips. With Premium there's no limit.
