Category budgets let you set spending limits and get automatic alerts when you're approaching or exceeding them. Perfect for staying in control of your finances on the road.
How does it work?

Set up a budget
Open your trip
Open the trip where you want to set budgets.
Go to Budgets
Tap the Budgets icon in the menu.
Select a category
Pick the category you want to set a limit for.
Set the amount
Enter the maximum amount you want to spend.
Available categories
You can set budgets for any category:
- Food: Restaurants, supermarket, delivery
- Transport: Flights, taxis, fuel
- Accommodation: Hotels, Airbnb
- Entertainment: Tours, tickets, activities
- Shopping: Souvenirs, clothes, gifts
- And all the other categories in the app
Start by setting a budget for the 2-3 categories where you spend the most. That's when the control really pays off.
Smart alerts
The system alerts you automatically:
- At 80%: "You've spent $8,000 of $10,000 on Food"
- At 100%: "You've reached your Food limit"
- Over limit: "You've exceeded your Food budget by $500"
If you've already seen an alert and don't want it to show again, you can dismiss it. The system won't alert you for that limit again until you change it.
