A trip's better when you share it with friends. KUENTAS gives you several ways to invite participants so they can add expenses and see the balance in real time.
Ways to invite
You've got three options to invite your friends:
Invitation code
A unique 6-character code you can share through any channel
QR code
Perfect for inviting someone nearby — they just scan it
Invitation link
A direct link you can send via WhatsApp, email, or any app
Steps to invite
Open the trip
Go to the trip where you want to add participants by tapping it from the main screen.
Access the share option
Tap the share icon in the top right corner of the trip screen.
Choose how to share
A modal will open with the invitation code, a button to copy the link, and the option to show the QR code.
Share with your friends
Send the code, the link, or show the QR to the people you want to invite to the trip.
The invitation code never expires, so you can share it at any point during the trip.
Copy the code
To copy the invitation code:
- Tap the code shown in the modal
- Or tap the "Copy code" button
- The code will be copied to your clipboard
- Paste it wherever you want to share it
Share a link
The invitation link opens the app directly (if installed) or takes the user to download it:
- Tap "Share link"
- Your phone's share menu will open
- Choose the app you want to send the link through (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.)
Anyone with the code or link can join the trip. Only share it with the people you actually want in.
View current participants
To see who's already in the trip:
- Enter the trip
- Tap "View participants" or the balance section
- You'll see a list of all participants with their photos and names
