Categories help you organize expenses and see where you're spending the most. KUENTAS includes predefined categories that cover typical travel expenses.

How to assign a category
When creating the expense
Tap the "Category" field and pick the right one.
Select from the list
You'll see all available categories with their icon.
KUENTAS automatically suggests a category based on the expense description. For example, if you type "Lunch", it suggests "Food".
View expenses by category
In the trip summary you can see:
- Pie chart: Shows the percentage of each category
- Category list: Filter expenses by type
- Total per category: How much was spent in each one
Change an expense's category
If you assigned the wrong category:
- Open the expense
- Tap "Edit"
- Change the category
- Save the changes
