Add an extra layer of security using your fingerprint or face recognition. The app locks automatically and only you can get in.

How to activate
Go to Profile
Tap your profile photo or the profile icon in the bottom bar.
Find the "Settings" section
In your profile, scroll to the "Settings" section where you'll see the Face ID / Touch ID switch.
Enable biometrics
Tap the "Biometric authentication" switch.
Confirm your identity
Use your fingerprint or face to confirm activation.
Lock timeout
You can set how long before the app locks:
- Immediate: Locks as soon as you minimize the app
- 1 minute: One minute after closing it
- 5 minutes: Five minutes of inactivity
- 15 minutes: Fifteen minutes of inactivity
- 30 minutes: Thirty minutes of inactivity
If you use the app a lot during the trip, set it to 5 minutes so you don't have to unlock it constantly.
Why use it?
- Privacy: No one can see your expenses if they pick up your phone
- Security: Protects the group's financial info
- Convenience: Faster than typing a password
- Travel: Extra important if you lose your phone abroad
Your device must have biometrics set up (fingerprint or face registered in your phone settings).
Deactivate
If you want to turn off biometric authentication:
- Go to Profile > Settings
- Turn off the biometrics switch
- Confirm with your fingerprint/face
